Today was Trog's great crab feast at Ernie's. See, Trog won a dozen jumbo crabs on Beirne's ticket when UVA defeated Ole Miss in the College World Series. Wow. I came for just a few minutes, well after most of the hoopla. Uncle Beirne gave me a mug of beer and made a few indiscreet speculations on a topic most people would consider too private for a familiy restaurant like Ernie's. I heard that later he demanded 4 Ernie's T-shirts - probably hoping that the entire event would become the stuff of legends.
