My old man called me the other night on his way home from a funeral. He went to pay respects to an old coworker who had lost a daughter. "You remember him?" "Sorry, no. At college with her friends. Couldn't get stopped and crashed into a wall." "Dang. What did you say to him?" "Told him I was sorry.
